Scalable Path Code of Conduct

Be Honest

We ask that our freelancers represent themselves and Scalable Path with a high standard of honesty and integrity in all aspects of the contractor-client relationship. Part of this principle includes an accurate record of work when submitting timesheets for a project. If there’s a problem somewhere, be up front about it. Straightforwardness and trust should act as the basis of all relationships on our platform.

Produce Quality Work

Our clients trust in your expertise to help get the job done. Take pride in your work and put forward your best every day. A successful project reflects well on you as well as us, which leads to future work and engagement on our platform to the benefit of all involved. And if you’re a developer, remember to test, test, test!

Communicate Effectively

Projects succeed when everyone involved is working cohesively as a team. Take the time that’s needed to ensure requirements are clear and speak up if you’re unsure of anything. Asking questions shows your commitment to a project, and raising any concerns you may have is better than keeping quiet about them. Show up on time for meetings and keep those involved updated with your status on tasks and initiatives. Also, be responsive to emails and messages so those who need to hear from you aren’t left waiting. Clear and regular communication will ensure things run smoothly on your team.

Treat Others with Respect

As a group of remote workers, we have a variety of people with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. At Scalable Path, there is no room for prejudice or discrimination of any kind. Try to act with empathy and give others the benefit of the doubt through your relationships with coworkers. In the fast-paced world of technology, people don’t have all the answers - and that’s okay. Working together to find them and achieve the group’s shared goals is what matters. Freelancers are also expected to honor the terms of all contracts and agreements that are in place throughout the relationship between the involved parties. Mutual respect and professionalism builds a reputation that often leads to future work.

Act Responsibly

Everyone on our platform is, in a sense, acting as a representative of Scalable Path. We ask that you keep the above principles in mind throughout your work and while making decisions. Taking responsibility for our actions ensures that we’re doing right by our clients, freelancers, and for ourselves. By following this code of conduct, together we can help build a trusted community that continues to grow and be successful.
