After completing a multimedia course at the age of 18, I jumped into web design, and for the last 17 years I have worked as a senior digital designer for agencies across the globe, as well as managing and directing my own team of designers, on projects for some of the world’s biggest brands. I started my career in Australia before moving to the UK and working in both the Scottish highlands and London, designing for brands such as Hilton, Ramada, Hertz, Maxfactor and Olay. Upon returning to Australia I worked as the senior e-commerce designer for Virgin Australia, before moving across to Flight Centre, and later contracting to Tatts Group. Deciding on a new life adventure, I moved to Bangkok, Thailand and was a co-founder in a digital agency, designing for clients such as United Nations, Ipsos Global and British Council, along with investing into, and building online startups. With a desire to further my career as a designer, I moved back to Australia in 2014 and worked for industry giant SapientNitro who have over 35 offices globally with more than 13000 employees. As a senior digital designer for SapientNitro Brisbane, I expanded my knowledge in the UX field, and have a good understanding of an organizing idea, customer journeys and personas, and client workshops. While at SapientNitro, I designed for some of Australia's biggest brands, including Goodlife, ASX, Commonwealth Games and Rays Outdoors. Recently, I left Australia and now currently residing in New York. I enjoy constantly learning and evolving as a designer and am currently exploring and learning more about VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) and how this technology can benefit businesses around the world.
