Damien | CEO
Damien is the founder of Scalable Path and also acts as an architect and consultant on many of the company's projects. Previously, he headed PHP development at SolutionSet, where he spent a 5 month period in Goa, India managing a team of software developers. He has also held sales and marketing positions at other San Francisco technology companies including Evite and CNET Networks. With bachelors degrees in geography and computer science from UC Berkeley and San Jose State University, Damien brings a unique perspective on international business to both Scalable Path and its clients. He is passionate about agile processes and still enjoys getting in the zone and coding when he can.
Tomas | Strategic Adviser
Originally from Colombia, Tomás joined his first tech startup while finishing his comp-sci/engineering and entrepreneurship & management degree at University of Minnesota. He then spent the next 6 years working his way into the executive ranks at Accenture as part of the Architecture Innovation group. There, Tomás led the architecture design, delivery, and operations for multiple high profile web apps for world renowned clients including Best Buy - managing large distributed teams using agile methodology, and largely focusing on Linux DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and open source technologies. He brings leading edge technology delivery skills and experience to Scalable Path and its clients.
Trevor | Strategic Adviser
Trevor began his career in the enterprise Domain Registration and Digital Cert industry working for Network Solutions and Verisign where he wrote the industries first version of Private WHOIS. He then focused on LAMP stack and open source technologies, specializing in the Symfony framework and remote, distributed development. As an entrepreneur he has partnered with numerous startups, architecting and managing complex systems and teams from the ground up.
Dan | Freelance Architect
Hailing from Memphis, TN, the home of Elvis, Dan brought his growing laundry list of technological skills to the Bay Area on September of 2012. While Dan's unicycling skills are mediocre at best, and juggling ability absent altogether, he does get top points for his skills as a Rubyist, PHP developer, and more recently, devops engineer and architect. Dan has a PHP and MySQL certification from Zend and Oracle (respectively), and previously developed software in the wealth management industry.

Chris is a full-stack developer and team leader based in Shanghai. With over a decade of experience in web, mobile, network, and systems engineering, he has worked with some of the biggest names on the Internet to scale their infrastructure and handle extremely high traffic. An entrepreneur at heart, he’s built businesses that have succeeded, and some that have not. Today, he can be found helping clients in a variety of industries tackle their engineering challenges, playing with a few side-ventures, and planning his next exotic travel destination.
Stephanie | Freelance Lead Designer
Stephanie Hager is a multi-faceted creative whose background includes branding, concept development, UX/UI app design, & responsive web design. She has a passion for designing cutting edge web-applications & graphics, and always keeping an eye on the latest trends. While studying at both the University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, Stephanie began building her experience by interning for Windmiller Design Group, a Minneapolis design agency, and at the same time gaining clients of her own. Upon graduation, Stephanie accepted a web design position at Thomson Reuters. After several promotions, she began to seek a more versatile creative position. Stephanie brings design expertise, artistic vision and enthusiasm to Scalable Path and its clients.

An entrepreneur and executive with 10+ years of experience in building products and businesses for healthcare, enterprise SaaS, and consumer internet industries. As CTO, led a Software-as-a-Service startup from pre-revenue to $1MM ARR within 6 months. An expert at optimizing processes, delivering products and scaling fast growth companies. Have successfully managed offshore and onshore teams as a CTO/COO/CIO as well as served as a developer, architect, and project manager for several fast growth companies. Jesse | Freelance Architect
At the age of 16 Jesse fell in love with computers - programming Dungeons and Dragons scenarios in Q-BASIC for Mac and recreating the Sgt. Pepper's album cover in Mac Paint. Fast forward to 2002, while still in college, Jesse was the technical director and graphic designer of several Rockport published books in the area of computer graphics and web design. In years that followed, he has worked as a senior programmer, graphic designer winning a national award for his web design, and managed large scale projects for companies such as AT&T, PC World, SAS, Toshiba, Costco, Intel, Adobe, and Sony. Jesse brings more than a decade of experience, enthusiasm and a wide range of skills to bear in helping Scalable Path clients realize their vision. On the weekends, Jesse enjoys playing in art-punk bands and taking boat rides with his wife and kids.
Sean | Freelance Architect
Sean has been involved in web development and related system administration since 1998. As an accomplished audio engineer in New York City, he began studying web design and coding as a side hobby which gradually evolved into a web development career. He has worked on projects for clients including MTV, Capitol Records, The US Dept. of Treasury, and Dell Computers. Having been involved in all phases of web development from low-level web server administration up through user interface and user experience design, Sean has the wide-angle perspective necessary for viewing the entire project top down and building teams around a predetermined goal.
David | Freelance Architect
David taught himself C++ before he could drive. His interest in programming and graphic design got him his first job at an ISP in Davis, California at age 16. From there he started his own web development company. Until recently, he served as the CTO of StartCHURCH, where his leadership helped grow the company to become the industry leader in church legal formation. David lives in Vacaville California with his wife Rachael and two little girls Michaiah and Liberty.

I started programming at a very early age. I've been working professionally in software development since 1994 and have exposure to a wide variety of languages, but primarily work with Linux, Apache, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and PHP. I'm also highly experienced in front-end development (HTML, CSS) with a focus on mobile web. I've worked in government, corporations, and fast-paced startups. I provide management and guidance of technology teams with a focus on business needs/growth, modular and low-maintenance (software) architecture, and efficiency. I don't take work personally, I'm very approachable and easy-going, and I have a passion for motorsports.

At SolutionSet, a digital marketing and web development agency in San Francisco, he managed a variety of projects for Fortune 500 brands including Google, YouTube, American Express and JCPenney. Alex is passionate about designing and developing web, mobile and social applications that solve real world problems and offer more convenience and fun in our lives.
